SUB POP HAVE been delving into the ‘L’ section of their archive a lot recently, as Mark Lanegan’s early promo clips and albums have been dusted off for public gaze.
MOJO can reveal that the singer’s first five solo records will be re-released on November 20 as a vinyl box set, One Way Street, by the label.
All five titles have been out-of-print or unreleased on vinyl until now. The Winding Sheet, Whiskey For The Holy Ghost and Scraps At Midnight have only been available secondhand for years, while the 12-inch version of I’ll Take Care Of You was released only in Europe before. Field Songs only ever existed on CD.
