PATTI SMITH IS set to play London’s Hyde Park this summer on a bill with Massive Attack and more.
The singer will play before the Bristolian headliners on the July 1 date of Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park festival, while Warpaint, TV On The Radio, Young Fathers and Ghostpoet are also on the bill.
The show, which is being staged in support of Médecins Sans Frontières, will see Massive Attack presenting “a new and provocative audio-visual live show” designed by Robert Del Naja – aka 3D – and the band’s longtime visual collaborators United Visual Artists.
Tickets for the event are due to go on sale at the end of this week, but MOJO Tickets has a limited pre-sale, with tickets going on sale early tomorrow (March 10) morning from 9am (GMT).
