Hi there,
Congratulations to David Gilmour on his Life Time Achievement Award. I'm sure many would agree he has been a huge influence to many in the world of music and beyond.
I would love to read more on this special award and the event itself. Although I nearly didn’t see the information about David Gilmour and his award. Its rather hidden down the bottom of the page and the picture is very small. I nearly missed it!
Cheers
Adrian

Many, many congratulations to David Gilmour on his Lifetime Achievement Award. Very well-deserved it is, too... and about time!
It's just a shame you're not making more of it at Mojo. The man is a legend, has influenced so many people and has shamefully been overlooked when the awards come out for years. To beat the precious Hendrix in a Fender guitarist poll is no mean feat and having a solo album rocket to Number One is pretty special, too.
More about David, please!

Quite simply David Gilmour deserves a knighthood for his untouchable work both solo and with the floyd. I guess a mojo lifetime achievement award is a start!
Do yourself a favour and catch one of his outdoor summer gigs

Congratulations, Mr Holland. Perhaps now you and the band will contemplate conquering the colonies.
Well done.

Scott Walker is a legend and fully deserves his award... so what if he wants to be secretive?
That's why the tabloid press might not recognize him (he's been doing it for 30 odd years)!!!
I hardly think Scott Walker would be concerned if someone in a bunny costume suggested that a
tabloid photographer who's taking time off from snapping Chantelle or Posh Spice wouldn't be aware who he was...

Absolutely delighted that an award has went to Scotland. However are you sure you have got the right Reid brothers. Surely you must have meant Charlie and myself. Afterall we are always in tune, nevermind the fact that at least we have a decent haircut as well (even though it is our uncle Jock that does the deed). Hopefully our worldwide fan base can back us up. And Mojo, no doubt you will get a little more than just a letter from America.......................

No disrespect but how the hell did Chrissie Hind win a songwriting award when up against Joe Strummer?
