Foo Fighters will play a gargantuan show at Wembley Stadium on June 7, 2008. The announcement arrives only hours after the band wrapped up their latest sold out UK jaunt with a show at London's 02 arena. Having recently topped the charts with their sixth album, Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, the foursome will release a new single, Long Road to Ruin on December 3. <
This won't be the first time the group has graced the hallowed, brand new Wembley stage. Earlier this year, The Foos managed to tear the air off the disaster that was Live Earth. Well done that band.
Tickets for their concert at Wembley go on sale at 10am Friday, November 23rd. The band will tour the US throughout the first half of next year. For more information head over to http://www.foofighters.com/
