Coldplay Cover The Pretenders

Coldplay have recorded a version of The Pretenders festive cut, 2000 Miles.
The track originally appeared on the flipside of their 1983 single, Middle Of The Road.
We love Christmas songs," revealed Coldplay's Chris Martin "but every time we try and write one it’s awful. So we cover them. Well once or twice actually."
You can hear the band's take on the tune by heading over to their official site. It really is quite poor.
Coldplay's new studio album will be released next year.
Now, here's a proper slice of Christmas delight.
