Drive-By Truckers: New Album In February

Drive-By Truckers will release their new album, Brighter Than Creation's Dark, on Feb 4, 2008.

Hailing from the sonic home of southern soul, Muscle Shoals, the band are now based in REM's former hometown of Athens, Georgia. Brighter...will be their 7th studio album and features the nimble fingers of Spooner Oldham - a lifelong family friend of Truckers' frontman Patterson Hood.

The five-piece play the following UK shows in early 2008:

Oxford Zodiac @ Carling Academy (26)
Bristol Fiddles (27)
