ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 14, Pink Floyd founder member Nick Mason will guest on MOJO Rocks at 9.00pm for a three hour show during which he’ll be quizzed by MOJO’s Editor-In-Chief Phil Alexander on all matters Floydian, past and present, including – shhhhhh! – the possibility of a full band reunion. Floyd’s drummer will also reveal his Top 3 favourite albums from the band’s catalogue.
The show will be repeated at 9.00pm on Sunday December 16 and will be followed by Pink Floyd’s live performance of The Wall. What’s more, throughout the weekend you’ll get to hear a Floyd classic every hour, and there’ll be chance to win a signed copy of Oh By The Way itself.
The box set itself – which is out now on EMI records – includes all of Floyd’s 14 studio albums, with each set featuring original (albeit miniaturised!) sleeves and packaging. These run as follows:
The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn (single wallet)
A Saucerful Of Secrets (single wallet)
More (single wallet)
Ummagumma (gatefold 2 discs)
Atom Heart Mother (gatefold)
Meddle (gatefold)
Obscured By Clouds (single wallet with rounded corners)
The Dark Side Of The Moon (gatefold plus 2 posters and 2 stickers)
Wish You Were Here (single plus liner, postcard, and black shrinkwrap)
Animals (gatefold)
The Wall (gatefold 2 discs)
The Final Cut (single wallet)
A Momentary Lapse Of Reason (gatefold)

And it looks a bit like this...

Check back here on Friday for the full details on how to win the same said box.

Uncertain what to have for background music on this special day of the year, only you were choice, please keep it up as your choice is great. The thing that promped me especially was the playing of one of my favourites 'Mr Blue Sky' by ELO!
As I said keep it up.
