Paul Weller appeared on Radio 4's Desert Island Discs over the weekend.
Discussing the eight songs he couldn't live without if he was marooned on a far away isle with nothing but The Bible, The Complete Works Of William Shakespeare, a book and luxury item of his choosing for company, Weller also let slip that he's currently hard at work on his next studio album. Marvellous.
Let us know what you think of his choices by commenting below...
Weller chose:
1. Tin Soldier - Small Faces
2. September In The Rain - Dinah Washington
3. Better Get Hit In Yo’ Soul - Charles Mingus
4. Don’t Be A Drop Out - James Brown
5. Arabesque No 1 - Debussy
6. Galileo (Someone Like You) - Declan O’Rourke
7. River Man - Nick Drake
8. That’s Enough - Roscoe
Record: Tin Soldier
Book: Absolute Beginners by Colin MacInnes
Luxury Item: A settee to sit on

Indeed, strange to see a Modfather list without The Who.
Never heard of #8. Any comments?

Weller clearly isn't God because he forgot Traffic! Any one of dozens would have done ....
