The Breeders have announced a string of UK dates due to kick off at the beginning of April 2008.
The quartet have recently been putting finishing touches to their fourth LP, Mountain Battles - the follow-up to 2002's superb, Title TK. The album will be released through 4AD on April 7.
The Breeders will play:
DUBLIN, VICAR STREET (April 7)
GLASGOW, ABC (8)
LEEDS, METROPOLITAN UNIVERSITY (9)
NOTTINGHAM, TRENT UNIVERSITY (10)
SHEFFIELD, LEADMILL (12)
BIRMINGHAM, ACADEMY 2 (13)
MANCHESTER, ACADEMY 2 (14)
LONDON, KOKO (16)
These dates mark the band's first UK shows since they played the London Astoria in the summer of 2002. Having completed the jaunt, they'll then go on to appear at the South-By-Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas before embarking on an extensive US tour at the end of April.
