The nominees for this year's Brit Awards were announced tonight during a preview evening held at London's Roundhouse.
Take That, Mika and Leona Lewis lead the pack with four nods each, while Mark Ronson, Kate Nash , Kaiser Chiefs and Arctic Monkeys all have three nominations.
Kings Of Leon (hooray!), Bruce Springsteen (hooray!), Arcade Fire (hooray!), The White Stripes (hooray!) and Michael Buble (#!*!##!) all receive a single mention each.
The aforementioned Ronson will perform at the show, alongside Kaiser Chiefs, Mika, Kylie Minogue and Rihanna.

As previously reported, Paul McCartney will accept the Outstanding Contribution To Music award and will close the event with a live performance.
Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne will host the ceremony, due to take place at Earl's Court on February 20.
The Brit awards voting panel is made up of 1,000 members of the music industry.
Last year, the likes of Amy Winehouse, James Morrison, Arctic Monkeys and Justin Timberlake all took home major gongs.

the 'music industry' clearly has no idea what a wealth of musical talent is out there at the moment. Bruce Springstien and Take That! Clueless.
The music 'industry' has never really been interested in music as an art form, merely a product, but i would have thought by 2008 they would have at least left thier offices to see what is out there. A joke.

awesome man, a bot of recognition for Kylie at last. Its easier for bands who are cool to get praise but for a pop singer its nigh on impossibe. Well done to Kylie cos X is a cracker.
