Eels: Mark Everett Plays London

Eels frontman Mark Everett is set to make a special, one-off solo appearance at London's St James' Church on January 17.

The show will celebrate the release of his new book, Things The Grandchildren Should Know. Everett will be rewarding the first 200 fans to arrive with a free signed copy.

The intimate UK gig comes amid a flurry of Eels related activity. Two new compilations, Meet The Eels: Essential Eels Vol 1, 1996-2006 and Eels Useless Trinkets: B-Sides, Rarities and Unreleased 1996-2006, are released on January 21 (make sure you check out the current issue of MOJO for our official reviews).

The full band will be landing on our fair shores once again nex month to embark on a six-night jaunt around the country.
