Freebass, the long-gestating supergroup consisting of The Smiths' Andy Rourke, New Order's Peter Hook and Primal Scream's Mani, are rumored to make their live debut next month at Manchester's MEN Arena.
The Sun is reporting that fellow Manc-stawarts Liam Gallagher and Ian Brown will take on vocal duties at the Manchester vs Cancer event on February 23.
The trio have been busy recording their first LP with likes of The Charlatans' Tim Burgess and Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie also lending extra vocal help.
The Verve, Insipiral Carpets, James and Happy Mondays are all rumored to be joining the line-up.
