Henry Diltz: California Dreaming

Documenting the nascent careers of such Californian luminaries as Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, The Doors, The Mamas And Papas, Jackson Browne and The Eagles, photographer Henry Diltz has played an integral part in defining the look of West Coast rock.

Beginning his career as part of The Modern Folk Quartet, Diltz began taking pictures while on tour in 1963. Over the next four decades his iconic images of the golden state's most revered musical talents, would grace the walls of rock fans across the globe - not mention the pages of umpteen magazines and over 100 classic album sleeves, including The Eagles' Desperado and Crosby, Stills & Nash's debut LP.

Now, for the first time, Diltz has collated several of these images into a brand new, limited edition tome entitled, California Dreaming: Memories And Visions Of LA 1966-1975.
