MOJO’s Great Escape

Like a mini South By Southwest, for the last two years Brighton’s Great Escape festival has showcased some of the finest new talent on the planet. And, indeed, MOJO has been proud to host a series of legendary club nights at the festival – nights that have featured the likes of Martha Wainwright, Richard Hawley, Willy Mason, Archie Bronson Outfit and Vincent Vincent And The Villains.
This year the Great Escape takes place once again from May 15-17 and MOJO will once again present three nights of quality music. The shows will take place at Brighton’s Old Market and will feature four acts hand-picked by MOJO.
The first acts confirmed include Fujiya & Miyagi, Tunng, Lightspeed Champion and Peter Von Poehl.
In celebration of their appearance at The Great Escape MOJO also invites you to check out Fujiya & Miyagi’s Ankle Injuries – the track that you’ll also find on the OK Computer CD that accompanies this month’s issue of the MAGAZINE.
