Yoko Ono is suing the lead singer of the band Lennon, for intentionally exploiting her late husband's name. Ono is claiming that Lennon Murphy fraudulently registered the monika as a trademark. Julian Lennon has given his full support to the action. Murphy has commented on the issue through her MySpace page, which you can view HERE.

Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson has revealed that David Bowie is among the guests to make an appearance on her soon-to-released album of Tom Waits covers. Anywhere I Lay My Head, sees Bowie lend his vocal talents to Falling Down and Fannin Street. Yeah Yeah Yeah’s Nick Zinner and Celebration’s Sean Antanaitis have also contributed to the record. TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek has produced the album.

Lenny Kravitz has cancelled his European tour following doctor's orders to rest after he contracted a severe respiratory tract infection.

Rumours abound that The White Stripes will play London's tiny Old Blue Last pub on March 3. Stay tuned to MOJO for confirmation and details.

Muse will headline this year’s V Festival in what will be their only European festival appearance of 2008. The event takes place on 16 & 17 August at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Stafford. Tickets go on sale at 10am Friday, March 7.
