  • I first met Deborah in '78 @ Peaches Records on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, she signed a Blondie poster for me with her pink lipstick. I still think she's GREAT. Always have an ear out there on what she may be working on next. Eddie

  • RE: Blondie
I would listen to Blondie's music first played by Los Angeles radio station KROQ in 1977. I fell in love with Debbie Harry's face which was pretty much all over the place. I did not put the two together until I bought my first Blondie album (Autoamerican) in 1981. Debbie Harry/Blondie are a true artist.

  • "Denis" was the first Blondie-Song i ever heard - with 19 years - in a white Volkswagen-Beetle Year of Construction 1960 (or maybe a red Ford Escort Year of Construction 1973 or 1972) - on a warm autumn morning in Vienna in the Year 1978 (or maybe on a warm spring morning in the year 1979) on the way to work in the 7. Distriction - (EMI-Columbia) Warehouseman - i was enchanted... - and the day saved

  • When Blondie was FINALLY inducted into the R&R Hall Of Fame I cry I actually cry. because they FINALLY got the reconition they DESERVE. Because the Recording Industry took Blondie as the Rodney Dangerfield of bands NO RESPECT!! what so ever and I think thats is why Blondie was much more of a success in the UK then here in America. I even heard Deborah once said in an interviewed she did for the BBC saying the Recording Industry screw her and Chris royally and only got half of what other bands were asking.
