This week's South Bank Show will centre on the musicians and artists at the heart of the revolutionary uprisings of 1968. Revolution 68 will chart the anti-establishment protests in London, Paris, Prague and Chicago. Vanessa Redgrave, Tariq Ali, Oliver Todd and Tom Stoppard will all appear alongside unseen interviews from Mick Jagger and John Lennon. Here are the details:

Anton Cobijn's Control picked up two awards at yesterday's Empire Awards. Sam Riley won Best Newcomer for his portrayal of the Joy Divison's troubled singer Ian Curtis, while the rest of the cast and director Corbijn took to the stage to pick up the gong for Best Soundtrack.
The Raconteurs will return to UK shores this summer as Jack White and Brendan Benson's four-piece play Scotland's T In The Park on July 12 and Oxegen Festival in Ireland the following day. The band's follow up to 2006's Broken Boy Solidiers will be released later this year.
Paul McCartney has confirmed that The Beatles back catalogue is about to make its online debut through the iTunes service. “It's happening soon," he revealed. "The whole thing is primed - ready to go.” Macca is expected to net £200 million from the deal. Nice.
