Queen have announced details of a new album and a 2008 world tour.
Brian May and Roger Taylor will once again hit the road with Free/Bad Company's Paul Rodgers in tow. The trio have recorded their first album’s worth of material, with all the songs having been jointly written and produced. The currently untitled album is set for release on September 1 and will include the 46664 track, Say It Isn't So, as well an as yet undisclosed cover version. Another new track, C-lebrity, will be previewed when the band make a by-demand return to the ITV's Al Murray’s Happy Hour on April 4.
The 2008 jaunt kicks off in Russia with two dates at Moscow’s SCO Olympic Arena, before moving on to Poland for a huge free concert at the historic Gdansk Shipyard. The band will then travel through Europe eventually hitting the UK for six dates including a show at London’s 02 Arena on October 13.
