Raconteurs: New Album Next Week!

The Raconteurs will release their sophomore album, Consolers Of The Lonely, next Tuesday (March 25).

Having completed recording, mixing and mastering during the first week of March, the 14-track record will be available on vinyl, CD and digital formats. A video for the first single, Salute Your Solution will be release online on the same day.

A band statement reveals that the Jack White/Brendan Benson-led quartet wanted "to get the album to the fans as soon as possible and as we promised. We wanted to get this record to fans, the press, radio, etc., all at the EXACT SAME TIME so that no one has an upper hand on anyone else regarding it’s availability, reception or perception."

The new album is their first since 2006's Broken Boy Solidiers.
