Magnificent late-'50s singles round-up that keeps on giving.

Dennis Wilson's 1977 solo opus, Pacific Ocean Blue , has been out of print for almost 20 years, with the odd appearance of a vinyl copy causing record collectors to start foaming at the mouth.
Now, thanks to Legacy Recordings, this sort of wallet-emptying situation is unlikely to occur again, as the label gears up to release a special 2-disc, 30th anniversary edition of the album on June 10. The set will also include Bambu: The Complete Sessions - a collection of unreleased material that was slated for inclusion on Wilson's follow-up LP.

Such an amazing album. Why this wasn't a huge FM hit in the 70s, I'll never know - I guess it was the Beach Boys connection.
