NEWS DIGEST: Friday, April 4

MySpace has announced plans to set up a music downloading service to rival Apple’s iTunes. Three major labels have already agreed to be part of the service allowing the site's 30 million users access to a huge back catalogue of tracks.

News just in from London's Court Of Appeal. Procol Harum's Gary Brooker has won back the rights to the band's 1967 hit, A Whiter Shade of Pale. The judge's decision refutes a 2006 ruling that Harum's organist Matthew Fisher was entitled to a 40% slice the royalties.

And finally...here is Procol Harum's majestic pop masterpiece in all its 16mm glory.
