The Fall's Mark E Smith is to be investigated by the RSCPA following comments he
killed 'a couple' of squirrels. Apparently, they were eating his fence. RSPCA spokesperson Klare Kennett, told the Daily Mail: "Anyone killing, harming or taking red squirrels from the wild is liable to prosecution and can face up to six months in prison and/or a fine of up to £20,000."

Motorhead have announced a slew of UK dates, due to take place in November.

The Raconteurs will play two UK shows next month. Jack White & co are set to hit London's Hammersmith Apollo on May 14 and Liverpool's Carling Academy on May 15.

Echo & The Bunnyman's Ian McCulloch
is to publish his memoirs. “The response in-house to Mac’s material was tremendous: it seems we’ve more than our fair share of serious Bunnymen fans working here,” says Editorial Director of Transworld Publishers Simon Taylor. “And the man himself is a one off, an iconic figure whose passion for words, music, and for his city, is utterly infectious.” The book is due to hit shelves next year.
