Brian May has revealed that a sequel to the Queen/Ben Elton stage musical We Will Rock You is in the pipeline. Speaking at a ceremony to induct him as Chancellor of Liverpool John Moores University, the guitar whiz told reporters: "We are planning the sequel. It is a real challenge."
HERE are the lyrics to the We Will Rock You version of Queen's 1984 smash Radio Ga Ga...
In the meantime, May is currently preparing for Queen & Paul Rodgers' autumn world tour and the release of their new album. "The long arm of Queen has pulled me back in at the moment. It is a beast," he added. "We've chosen our set, we've chosen our environment on tour. It is very exciting, very exciting indeed. Very time consuming but Queen always was consuming." The band debuted a new track, C-Lebrity on Al Murray's TV show last week. You can check it out HERE.
Hot on the heels of the recent reissue of The Lemonheads' 1992 classic It's A Shame About Ray, Evan Dando et al have now been confirmed as headliner's of this year's Truck Festival in Oxfordshire. It is likely to be the indie heroes only UK appearance. They are slated to play the album in full.

Dusty Springfield was without doubt one of the greatest soul singers in the world and certainly the finest european chanteuse. There are few contemporary comparisons in the diva deluge or retrograde stylists that are currently washed ashore who come remotely close. A unique talent who's back catalogue deserves wider recognition.
