Vanity Fair have delved into Bob Dylan's Theme Time Radio Hour series and produced a fascinating run down of what's been bubbling inside the Zimmerman cranium. Check it out HERE.
Influential New Wavers The Feelies (pictured) are to reunite for the first time in 15 years. Sonic Youth have persuaded the band to open their show on July 4 at New York's River to River Festival. The band released their debut album, Crazy Rhythms, in 1980 through Stiff Records.
Sly and the Family Stone have announced a short US tour. The painfully reclusive funk master and his group of session hotshots will play:

West Hollywood, CA, House Of Blues (26)
Minneapolis, MN, First Avenue (May 2)
Chicago, IL, Vic Theatre (3)

The full dates are:
Seattle, WA WaMu Theater (August 26)
Vancouver, BC GM Place (27)

Lo-Fi legends Sebadoh are reissuing an extended version of their 1993 album Bubble and Scrape. 15 extra tracks, including B-sides, rarities, and unreleased jams, are all due to appear on the new edition. The reissue coincides with a special live performance of the album at London’s Koko on May 7.
A private vinyl collection worth £25,000 has been donated to an Oxfam shop in Devon. More than 4,000 classical LP’s were given to the charity by an anonymous widow. Her husband also kept accompanying spreadsheets detailing the LPs by different categories including record label, composer, catalogue number and orchestra. 900 CDs still remain at her home. Terry Hyde, the Oxfam Volunteer who valued the comprehensive collection, told the Guardian: “It's all there: all your big figures from the 18th and 19th century, your 20th century unlistenable nightmares by Stockhausen, avant garde, opera, unaccompanied violin - virtually every genre is covered.”
May Pang, John Lennon's trusted companion during his infamous lost weekend, has put together a new book of unseen photographs from the pair's time together. The New York Times has a slide show which you can view online HERE.
And finally...Happy Birthday Carl Perkins! The Sun Records star and favourite of George Harrison would have been 76 today.
Here he is with the orginal (pre-Elvis) version of Blue Suede Shoes.
