Having sold out London’s ICA earlier this month, Johnny Flynn will return to the Capital’s stage and play a special MOJO Club show on June 19. Flynn and his band The Sussex Wit will headline a bill featuring some of the most enthralling new acoustic talent to emerge in the last 18 months.
Joining Flynn’s mob is London's Jay Jay Pistolet. Head over to his MySpace for tunes and more HERE.
Johnny Flynn meanwhile is set to release his debut album, A Larum, on May 26 via Vertigo. Check out free downloads of tracks from the album HERE.
In keeping with the MOJO Club’s policy of using different venues each month, the night will move to The Enterprise, in Camden, North London, which has a capacity of 120 people. Tickets for the show are limited, cost £8.00 (plus booking fee) each and are available from HERE.
July’s MOJO Club show will be announced early next week, while the following month’s show takes place on August 4 at London’s Roundhouse and features New Orleans legend, Allen Toussaint. Tickets for the latter one-off extravaganza cost £27.50 and are available from HERE.
