The Beach Boys' Brian Wilson has made a surprise return to Capitol Records as he gears up to release his new album, That Lucky Old Sun in September.

The songs from the record were unveiled during his shows at London's Royal Festival Hall towards the end of last year. It will be Wilson's first new solo release since 2004's Gettin' in Over My Head. His old wordsmith compadre Van Dyke Parks has contributed four spoken word tracks. Wilson is set to tour the US and Europe throughout the summer.

A new Beck track is currently available to hear online. The avant-popster has recently been ensconced in the studio with producer Danger Mouse and has now premiered Chemtrails via his official site and MySpace page. Click HERE to hear the song in all its glory.

And finally...Happy Birthday Joe Cocker! Sheffield's sandpaper-voiced rocker is 64 today. Here he is on the notorious Mad Dogs & Englishman tour in 1970.
