Track: Why Don't We Do It In The Road?
Artist: Babel
MOJO says: Described by McCartney as “a very John song”, this skiffle-styled street-romping tune is in fact one of Paul’s creations that he recorded without Lennon, much to the latter’s ire. This reinterpretation sees Bristol free-range folkers Babel add a dash of country-hewn charm to the proceedings.

This is a brilliant version - after all the beatles did start out as a skiffle band. They are playing at Green Man festival - let's hope they play this. They are my fave band of this year.

I really like this ! Ingenious to strip it down to a skiffle sound with that street corner, busking style. Babel sound very promising indeed.
