I Will
Paul provides immediate, supermelodic recompense for Why Don’t We Do It In The Road.
Luke Steel (The Sleepy Jackson): "At the moment I think I Will is my favourite. It’s perfect McCartney and I love him. In fact, after hearing Paul McCartney’s new record [Chaos And Creation In The Back Yard] I felt recharged. Like the world needed veteran melody again, new steps, new trickles. This song reminds me of the start of last century, the early musical melodies with major 7s and minor pairs. Very romantic pop, very neat, like a wedding, anxious and relieved. These guys are professors more than anything, heart professors with flippant navigating minds. I will marry one of those melodies one day."
