He's been a MOJO favourite ever since we first heard a snatch of his his stomp-box blues holler and he's fast becoming a firm fixture at Michael Eavis' annual Somerset shindig.
Now, as Seasick Steve readies his third studio album (featuring the likes of Nick Cave KT Tunstall), a free taster of what's to come has been made available via his official site.
"I recorded it up in this studio called Leader’s Farm in Norfolk and then I mixed it in Nashville," he told MOJO in June. "For the most part, it’s just acoustic guitar and a three-string guitar, so I’m keepin’ it simple. But I got drums. I got this crazy drummer, who’s a little crazier than I am, so…he’s like, not a normal drummer, no, no, no. His name is Dan, he lives in Sweden. He’s kinda like Animal from the Muppet Show. So we go a little bit crazy together."
