OK,so the artist has to put their own stamp
on a cover. It should, however, bear some resemblence to the original song.

Up to this track, I've pretty much agreed with other people on which tracks were atrocious. But now, I have to disagree.
You have to listen a little more carfully and you need a little patience, but I really find no problem with the more freeform interpretation. What you people aren't getting is she's not going out of key: She's just not following the same melodic line Paul did. She chooses to stay on the same note, adding to the somewhat droning atmopshere she created.
So excuse her if this version doesn't fully resemble the original (Unlike "While My Gutiar Gently Weeps). Back on "Dear Prudence" I defended a cover's right to sound like the orignal, but in this case I'll defend the other side too.
Last Minute Note: Shame on MOJO for not starting this clip at the beginning. I feel the setup is essential to the song. I wouldn't trust these clips, no matter how terrible the cover it samples is.
BTW, ged, the reason the niceness works is because it follows "Why Don't We Do It In The Road?" There's a couple things like that on the album.

RE: Bennett Billard
Good track - one of two decent attemps (with "While My Guitar"). No one else has captured the spirit of the Beatles - just got the tab and covered the songs. Groan !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
