Win A Signed Marianne Faithfull Portrait!

HER MOTHER WAS a Euro-aristocrat of the notorious Sacher-Masoch line, and when pop svengali tag-team Andrew Loog Oldham and Tony Calder clapped eyes on her at a launch party for their latest starlet they were bedazzled by what they remembered as “an angel with big tits”. Her recording career was launched with Jagger-Richards’ As Tears Go By, but she was to get more closely involved with the Glimmer Twins before the decade ended in a blur of drugs, court appearances and media infamy.

It all happened to Marianne Faithfull, and the music she made while it was happening is reflected in Decca’s Marianne Faithfull Live At The BBC compilation, out on Monday (July 21). To celebrate, we’re giving away three top prizes of signed photographs and albums, plus CDs for five runners-up.
