It's been eight long years, but AC/DC's new album Black Ice will be released through Columbia Records on October 20.
The 15-track collection will be preceded by a single, Rock 'N' Roll Train, which will premier on radio stations around the world on August 28.
Black Ice - and what a superbly monolithic title that is - will be the band's first studio set since 2000's Stiff Upper Lip. The record was produced by Brendan O'Brien at the Warehouse Studio in Vancouver.
The full tracklisting looks like this:
Rock 'N' Roll Train
Skies on Fire
Big Jack
Anything Goes
War Machine
Smash 'n' Grab
Spoilin' For a Fight
Wheels
Decibel
Stormy May Day
She Likes Rock 'n' Roll
Money Made
Rock 'n' Roll Dream
Rocking All the Way
Black Ice
No Bull: The Director's Cut, a newly expanded DVD edition of AC/DC's performance at Madrid's Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas in 1996, will also be released to coincide with the new record and is scheduled to hit shelves on September 8.
Here's the teaser trailer:
And finally, perhaps the most exciting news for all fans of the Young brothers and their merciless strain of heavy-riffing, is the news that the quintet will embark on a major world tour, beginning in late October.
Stay tuned to MOJO for venues/dates/details etc.
