Track: Revolution 9
Artist: The Neil Cowley Trio
MOJO says: "A key track in the ‘Paul Is Dead’ controversy as well as in Charles Manson’s appropriation of The White Album as an apocalyptic portent, Revolution 9 is The Beatles’ most uncompromising track, drawing on music concrete and post-modernist composition for inspiration. The Neil Cowley Trio accentuate its classical stylings before plunging headlong into free-form chaos.".
