ONE OF THE STARS of MOJO’s Mid-Term Report, June’s look at the hottest acts of 2008, Liz Green kicks off her first UK headline tour this weekend.
The Manchester-based singer-songwriter tops a bill hosted by esteemed London acoustic collective, The Local. She will be joined by fellow folk-blues adventurer Ben Wetherill, and New York-based, London-born songstress Essie Jain.
Liz Green is currently working on her debut album but her new single, Midnight Blues, is out now via Humble Soul and can be heard at www.myspace.com/lizgreenmusic.com.
