AS PETER GREEN REVEALS to MOJO magazine this month, it’s rare to glimpse him with guitar in hand these days. Nearly 40 years since his initial crack-up dismantled the original line-up of Fleetwood Mac, he keeps public appearances to a minimum.
“I’m a bit worried about going on stage,” the blues guitar legend tells MOJO’s Phil Sutcliffe. “I always feel inadequate...”
And yet, as this rare footage – made available exclusively to MOJO as Green’s 4-CD Anthology nears release – makes clear, there’s more than a hint of the exquisite delicacy that made the likes of Albatross and Need Your Love So Bad such quintessential totems of the late-’60s blues revival.
For classic Green clips, go to MOJO’s Peter Green Video Playlist...

Good to see Peter Green playing again. Really excellent stuff.
Incidently, take a look at him side on and you'll see that he is turning into film actor George Kennedy!

RE: Slowfingers
It's not a squire. Those are made by fender. He's playing an Epiphone.

Remember playing albatross with brother mike when we was just kids and hear he is playing it with the inventor himself. We also made a policeman cry playing with the very same song in Vaz's wine bar in Carshalton and no it wasn't cos it was shite. Bring it on peter.

I have noticed that the clip of Peter is no longer available on this site.
Any chance it'll be back on in the future or is there another way I can view it again?

PERTER GREEN IS THE TRUE SOUND OF BRITISH BLUES. I FIRST SAW/HEARD HIM AT THE READING JAZZ/BLUES FEST IN 1968 AND MORE RECENTLY WITH JOHN MAYALL AT THE COLOSEUM/WATFORD, A GREAT NIGHT. THE JOY CONTINUES.
