Bon Jovi are being sued for £250,000 after a member of their entourage allegedly ran over a female member of security staff with a golf buggy at Milton Keynes National Bowl in 2006.

Sally Allen, who spent a week in hospital after the incident, claims Kevin Mcdonnell – a member of the band’s security team – ran over her right leg causing ligament damage a fractured knee and other internal injuries.

The band have a released a statement stating: "Mrs Allen's claim concerns injuries she states occurred at a Bon Jovi show. None of the band members were present when she blocked the pathway of a crew member, nor were they aware of any disturbance at the time.”

The case comes just weeks after a Boston-based songwriter brought a $400 billion copyright suit against the band.
