Can the real Eleanor Rigby please step forward?
42 years after Sir Paul McCartney penned his string-laden ode to the mysterious ER, the former Beatle has revealed a 1911 payroll log from Liverpool's City Hospital that identifies a scullery maid as one E. Rigby. The document (view it here) is to be put up for auction at the Idea Generation Gallery in London on November 27. It was originally sent to Annie Mawson, founder of the Sunbeams Music Trust, in 1990 after she wrote to McCartney asking for a donation to help teach music to children with autism.

Re Journey: go read Pete Frame's comments on this godawful band in his Journey family tree. He sums all up there.
It just proves that there are at least 2 million stupid people in the world!

I just laugh a little inside every time I meet some girl who says one of her favorite bands is Journey.
When it's a guy, I just can't say anything. He can't be helped.
Also, eager for some more Antony. He reminds me of someone I used to sing with in high school.
