Iggy Pop Turns Tour Guide

IGGY POP TURNS UP on CNN tomorrow, the latest in a line of pop culture luminaries (and Guy Ritchie) to contribute to My City_My Life. Mr Osterberg takes us by the hand and leads us down the streets of Miami, where people go when they’re in need of "an elegant coma", the kind of state you’d hanker for after a lifetime of drugs, craziness, smearing peanut butter on yourself and goading Hell’s Angels into bottling you off, all in the name of the primitive thrill-seeking and rock’n’roll catharsis.
Iggy handles parrots in an exclusive aviary, poses in front of a mural of Morrissey and ponders the pleasures of the banana in the short film, which screens Thursday 4th December at 09.30 GMT; Saturday 6th December at 09.30, 18.00 and 23.30 GMT; and Sunday 7th December at 15.30 GMT. Trailer below.
