Monkey: Journey to the West is the sensational Chinese pop opera created by Damon Albarn and his Gorillaz cohort Jamie Hewlett.

Directed by operatic maestro Chen Shi-Zheng, Monkey is a spectacular display that features over 50 acrobats, jugglers and martial arts experts taking the stage to the sound of Albarn's mystical score.

The show, which premiered at Manchester International Festival in June 2007, has since seen sold-out performances in Paris and the US as well as a critically acclaimed string of dates at London's Royal Opera House earlier this year.

To celebrate its extended run through Christmas and New Year, MOJO is delighted to announce that we have 10 pairs of tickets up for grabs to see the show on Friday, December 19.
