I have absolutely nothing against R&B or any other type of African-American music. It is just that I feel Motown gets far too large a share of media coverage already, and this year being their 50th birthday I fear we are going to be up to our eyeballs in it all! How about some equal time for Specialty, Chess, Stax, Atlantic, Sue, Kent, Philadelphia International (having recently bought the massive 14 LP Philly box set that I've been after for the past 20 years), etc, etc.
