Bat For Lashes will tour the UK in April.

Natasha Khan will hit the road with songs from her upcoming second album, Two Suns, in tow.

Levon and the Hawks: From Bacon Fat to Judgement Day is a new 8-CD + DVD release set to document the early incarnation of The Band from the late '50s to the Big Pink basement tape recordings of 1967. The package is set for release through Other Peoples Music label later this year.

The collection will Include previously unheard historic studio & archival live recordings, rare singles, extensive liner notes, interviews and photos.

Kylie Minogue will present this year's Brit Awards alongside Gavin and Stacey sitcom stars James Corden and Mathew Horne.

Duffy, Pet Shop Boys, Kings Of Leon and U2 are all set to perform at the event, due to take place at London's Earls Court on February 18.

Nominations will be announced on Tuesday (Jan 20).

British folk icon Donovan has been made an Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters - an honour bestowed on him by the French government.

He said: "I take it for all the work I've done over the years to bring poetry back to popular culture. To get an honour like this confirmed to me that it was successful, that my work was accepted on my terms, rather than becoming an entertainer. I wanted to be entertaining, but to bring to the world a sense of meaning again."

Post-punk cult stars The Raincoats are to give a rare one-off performance accompanied by a screening of band member Gina Birch’s documentary The Raincoats, Fairytales - A Work in Progress. A celebrity panel discussion about the band and their work will follow. The event is due to take place on March 28 at London's BFI Southbank.

Jeff Beck
has been speaking about his imminent induction into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.

The legendary guitarist said: "It's a great thrill to be recognised by the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame, especially for the 25th anniversary. Nobody makes music for the honours but to take a place alongside so many of your own heroes is an indescribable feeling.  I'm a very humbled and proud man right now."

The ceremony takes place in Cleveland on April 4.
