Stand back! Lemmy's life is to be immortalized in a new feature length rockumentary.
Lemmy: The Movie, directed by Greg Olliver and Wes Orshoski, is due for release later this year and includes interviews with Slash, Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne, Jarvis Cocker and many more of the Motörhead leader's friends and peers.
According to lemmymovie.com: “The film crushes all myths, rumours and speculation about Lemmy, while giving his millions of fans more access to his life than ever before.”

Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck have announced that they will be playing two shows at Saitama, Japan’s super arena, on February 21 and 22.
Although the pair have worked together on many occasions over the years, this will be the first time the ex-Yardbirds axe-men have appeared on the same bill for an enormodome performance.

Kraftwerk's Florian Schneider has left the band after nearly 40 years as one of the German electro pioneers' key members. The news came via the group's official fansite. The post begins: "Florian Schneider leaves Kraftwerk after a 40 years partnership with Ralf Hütter. This partnership has generated an incredible music and huge advances in music technology."
The band are due to support Radiohead during their South American tour in March. These plans reportedly remain in place.
