Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, a new broadway show featuring music and lyrics by U2's Bono and The Edge, will open in New York in February 2010.
The production will premiere on February 18. Previews begin on January 16. There's more information at the official site HERE. Casting details are yet to be confirmed.
U2's new album, No Line On The Horizon, is set for release on March 2 and is reviewed in the current issue of MOJO.
Of course, this isn't the first time a rock band has delivered their own version of the fabled web-slinger's tale. Step forward The Ramones...

Bruce Springsteen has finally been confirmed as one of the headlining acts set to take the stage at this year's Glastonbury Festival. The Boss will be joined by the E Street Band when he plays the Pyramid Stage on Saturday, June 27.
Springsteen will follow his Worthy Farm appearance with his another festival set at Hard Rock Calling 09 - due to take place in London's Hyde Park on Sunday, June 28.
Neil Young and Blur are rumoured to fill the other two Glasto headline slots.
