Ray Davies Plays Laugharne Weekend. Win tickets!

THE LAUGHARNE WEEKEND is the annual culture shindig set in poet Dylan Thomas's former Camarthenshire bolt-hole. Gathering over the weekend of April 3-5, this year's music guests include Ray Davies and folk maven Shirley Collins, nu-folk wyrdling Alasdair Roberts, plus Mick Jones and Topper Headon (of Clash group) in conversation with legendary former tour manager Johnny Green.

Literary support comes courtesy of Louis De Bernières, Irvine Welsh, Alexei Sayle, A.L. Kennedy, Mark Steel, Howard Marks & Rhys Ifans, Jon Ronson, Stuart Maconie, Keith Allen, Britpop party-pooper Luke Haines and Great Trainrobber Bruce Reynolds.

This year, there will also be concerts every afternoon in Laugharne Castle featuring Cate LeBon, Richard James, Radio Luxembourg, Jon Langford, Young Marble Giants' Stuart Moxham, plus Johnny: a duo formed especially for the festival by Euros Childs, ex-Gorky's Zygotic Mynci, and Norman Blake from Teenage Fanclub.
