Jack White has hinted that a new White Stripes album could appear in 2010.
Speaking to Music Radar he revealed that, "It won't be too far off. Maybe next year." White then went on to discuss the duo's last tour: "I had just come from a Raconteurs tour and went right into it, so I was already at full speed. Meg had come from a dead halt for a year and went right back into that madness. Meg is a very shy girl, a very quiet and shy person. To go full speed from a dead halt is overwhelming, and we had to take a break. We just needed to stop for a while. When it comes down to your health, it's hard, people don't really understand. They think you go up on stage and you're having a blast, like you're partying or some shit. That's not the case. It's hard work to go on tour".
White is currently prepping the release of The Dead Weather's debut album Horehound - due for release on June 9.

The Stone Roses' eponymous debut is to be reissued later this year to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the album's release.
As previously reported in MOJO, original producer John Leckie remastered the latest edition with Ian Brown. The Stone Roses will appear in three new formats; a Special Edition (with expanded booklet), a Legacy Edition (with a disc of unreleased lost demos and a Live At Blackpool 1989 DVD) and a Collectors Edition (with a third CD of B-sides, three vinyl LPs, non-album singles and a USB stick of bonus content).
All are set for release on August 11.

Spinal Tap will play at this year's Glastonbury festival.
Christopher Guest, aka Nigel Tufnel, told the Philadelphia Daily News: "We originally thought about doing a full-blown Tap tour this year to mark the 25th anniversary of the film's release. But that would have been a very big deal in terms of show production, requiring a lot of effects, two 18-wheelers full of equipment, a tour bus. To be honest, we couldn't get that together. But we will do a couple of Tap shows in Britain, at Wembley Arena and the Glastonbury Festival".
