Former Wilco guitarist Jay Bennett has died of unspecified causes. Bennett, aged 45, died at his home in Urbana, Illinois during the early hours of Sunday morning. An autopsy is being performed to ascertain cause of death.

"We are all deeply saddened by this tragedy," Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy said in a statement on Monday. "We will miss Jay as we remember him - as a truly unique and gifted human being and one who made welcome and significant contributions to the band's songs and evolution. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends in this very difficult time."

Bennett joined Wilco in 1994 and appeared on three of the band's albums, Being There, Summerteeth and Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. He quit Wilco in 2001 and sued Tweedy earlier this month over unpaid royalties.

The full lineup for this year's Glastonbury festival has been announced. Alongside previously confirmed headliners Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen and Blur, The Specials; Nick Cave; Crosby Stills & Nash; Fleet Foxes; Bon Iver; Bat For Lashes; Steel Pulse; Terry Reid; The Horrors; Echo & The Bunnymen and Doves will perform at Worthy farm between June 26-28.

Amy Winehouse has pulled out of her headline performance at Island record's 50th Birthday celebrations at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire this Sunday (May 31).

No reason has been given for the cancellation and refunds will be given at the point of purchase. The show was also due to feature Toots & The Maytals and Sting's daughter's project, I Blame Coco.
