James Blunt: "I must have heard this first when I was about 14 or 15. The sense of movement in the song is so infectious. The guitarist in my band has Subterranean Homesick Blues as the polyphonic ringtone for his phone; someone rang him during a rehearsal and I just thought, 'Shit... how does one even start writing a song like that?'"
