Hits on Third are I'll Be There and Mama's Pearl while Never Can Say Goodbye and the title track charted from Maybe Tomorrow. Can I See You In The Morning is a stab at mid-'60s pop-psychedelia, How Funky Is Your Chicken tries on the Family Stone's funk, there's a really painful version of Bridge Over Troubled Water sung by Jermaine. By Maybe Tomorrow, the ideas are getting thin on the ground. Not surprising, perhaps, between albums three and four (now available as a twofer) came the obligatory Christmas Album, which made it an astonishing five LPs in well under two years.
