(Charly, 1995)
Long before representations by Bobby Taylor, leader of the Vancouvers, and Gladys Knight alerted Motown to the J5, the youngsters had been playing live (since 1965) including dates at New York's Apollo (1967). They also recorded for local indie Steeltown and the rudimentary singles Big Boy/You've Changed and We Don't Have To Be Over 21 (To Fall In Love)/Jam Session are available on this cheap CD and the more expensive Japanese import, called Big Boy.
