Springsteen, U2, Aretha Franklin For Hall Of Fame Shows!

U2, Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, Metallica, Aretha Franklin, Eric Clapton, Stevie Wonder and Crosby, Stills & Nash are just some of the major acts lining up to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Two shows (October 29 and 30) are due to take place at New York's Madison Square Garden.

"Twenty-five years ago a group led by legendary Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun created this foundation to recognize and celebrate the music and careers of artists whose music helped shape and define our generation," said Rolling Stone head honcho and the event's co-producer Jann Wenner.

Tickets go on sale on August 3.
